Cecilie Nørgaard

Lives and works in Vienna, Austria.

2013-2021 Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna from with professors Silke Otto-Knapp and Heimo Zobernig.

2017-2018 studied at the HfBK Hamburg with professor Jutta Koether.

Through critical and humorous engagement with painting, Cecilie Norgaard works to develop medium-specific critique of the field of art and commercial society at large. Aside from painting, her work comprises writing, reading, and whistling. Across all media, the development of a critical and analytical position is her main pursuit.
