DescriptionThe work is part of the Black Pages series that started in January 2012. The 2 photos, taken by the Austrian artist Philipp Fleischmann, were part of a series of 14 photos published in the Austrian art fanzine Black Pages in January 2012. Since then, I started to print and use the images of the series in different ways. In 2016, for a show at the Kunstlerhaus in Vienna, the 2 images, Flower Bouquet and UGG, were printed on PVC as billboards and hanged from the ceiling of the exhibition space. The work clearly represents me playing the “Celebrity” game, trying to hide my face from the Paparazzi. The photos were taken in an emblematic place for the Viennese art scene: the passage where the exhibition space CoCo and the Lenikus artist-in-residence program had their address for years, in the 1st district of Vienna. Both Coco and the Lenikus program have closed their doors.
