DescriptionNacht (Night) emphasizes transition and balance — between weightlessness and momentum. A bird with a full wingspan anchors the center of the composition, functioning as the initial focal point around which swirling female figures emerge in tonalities drawn from their surroundings: neutral hues, whites and greys, and soft azures. Layered modulations of blue, green, and earth tones in the background suggest land and sky unfolding from one another below, while the expansive curve above alludes to a distant horizon or celestial arc — perhaps a view of the Earth from above. The interplay of figural and non-figural forms elicits a simultaneous reflection on the freedom associated with flight, as well as the quiet power of motion through space.
